The Founder
Gareth Williams draws on a lifetime of music and decades of psychotherapy practice to drive meaningful change. As a guitarist, producer, and songwriter, Gareth leverages the universal language of music to make a positive difference in the world. His unique blend of musical talent and psychological insight fuels his dedication to fostering unity, compassion, and sustainability.

Gareth holds an MA in Music from Birmingham Conservatoire and has worked in mental health for 27 years. His roles have included therapist, mindfulness teacher, supervisor, researcher, and trainer. A published author and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, Gareth has supported individuals in various settings, from private practice to schools.

Gareth spearheaded the Soundlab and Creative Space community projects, offering guitar and songwriting workshops as alternatives to traditional counselling. He has produced numerous spoken word recordings, including audiobooks and guided meditations.

As the founder of Earthrise Music Alliance, Gareth aims to unite musicians, artists, activists, and communities to amplify their influence for positive change. He envisions a global movement driven by music’s power to educate, mobilize, and inspire action, fostering a more harmonious, sustainable, and just world.
